Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series



Yesterday marked the end of the 3 day Robert Cameron Law Cycling Series here in Victoria. Overall the event went very well. Rider's Cycles had Katie Cross, one of our sponsored athletes, racing in all 3 events. As well Amy Dearden, Colin Hynes and Shayne Alexander raced some of the events too.

Katie did great! Here are her Stats:

Colin did quite good as well, this is his first season road racing after a 5 year hiatus from any sports after having a brain hemorrhage playing baseball.

Shayne ran a great Bastion Square crit, this is Shayne's second race this year and did awesome. Although some troubles were had and he had to pull out after 9 laps.

New Specialized Cross bikes ment for 2011?


Rumour Mill!!

Specialized Crux, their new cyclocross race bike is apperently headed to the showroom floors for the 2011 season (august 2010). Internall cable routing, no zertz, race bred geometry, sram apex through sram red, alloy and carbon. Sounds sweet!

New Speed Concept!

Trek annouced their newest TT/Tri bike this week called the "Speed Concept." The bike differs from the TTX in that the Speed Concept has a Kamtail design that is said to be more aerodynamic, as well as being able to put a rear bag for triathalons behind it.

The Speed Concept comes in two trims: the 9 Series and the 7 Series. Within each series their are many different models ranging from ones built with the new Sram Apex to ones that have intergrated nose/brake/steering cones and Sram Red.
